Wonderfully Made
Psalm 139:14
$18.00
I've always been drawn to Psalm 139:14: "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." But as I reflected on it more deeply while preparing this painting, it was the words that follow that resonated most:
"and my soul knows it well."
וְנַפְשִׁי יֹדַעַת מְאֹד
That is a strength and assurance I carry within me, knit into my very soul by my loving G-d and Creator.
The blue anemone, or kalanit, came to mind as I considered this verse. I love how the sunlight illuminates its petals, only hinting at the flower's center.
