Inspiration for "Bring Us Back"
I painted this piece February 24th, 2025 after watching the news unfold about the return of the Bibas family to Israel. My soul grieved for the pain the family endured in captivity and for Yarden Bibas to be released only to learn of the devastating loss of his precious boys and his wife.
My soul joined Israel in grieving together for them. I felt connected to the Nation of Israel, but I also felt so very far away from the Land of Israel.
I needed to channel my grief, to create something beautiful to remember their souls... because I never want to forget the light of those beautiful, innocent red headed boys and their dear mother.
May these red flowers help us all to always remember the beauty and innocence of the fallen and our shared hope in the LORD to bring us back.
The painting is named “Bring Us Back” and is dedicated to Kfir, Ariel, and Shiri Bibas, may their memory be for a blessing.
